New Delhi, May 16 (ANI): Following the allegations made by a local television channel over alleged corruption and spot fixing in the lucrative IPL, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has suspended five players and ordered an investigation into the matter. Addressing mediapersons in New Delhi IPL Chairman, Rajiv Shukla announced the names of five suspended cricket players. Shukla added that former head of the ICC anti-corruption unit, Ravi Sawani has been appointed to investigate into the matter and his report will be submitted after 20 days.
Cricwaves adds: The five players to be suspended by the BCCI are TP Sudhindra, Mohnish Mishra, Shalabh Srivastava, Amit Yadav and Abhinav Bali.
